Alan Duncan to Wed Gay Lover

But will any of these be on the invite list?

When the Civil Partnership Bill went through the Commons a total of 38 Conservative MPs rebelled and voted against the bill. But now that Alan Duncan and his lover James Dunseath plan to get hitched, I wonder how many of these same Tories will accept an invite to the bash.

Will they refuse to go on principle or will the prospect of yet another free lunch be too much for them?

And as the couple stands before the altar, the MC will call out to the crowd:

"Is there any one here present who knows of any just impediment why these two should not be wed?"

Duncan looks nervously over his shoulder at the whipped benches behind him. Several arms are pressed firmly into their laps. David Cameron eyeballs the crowd.

Well come on fellas lets be 'aving ya. Speak now or forever hold your peace.

Oh, and excuse me if this is an ignorant question but is there any reason for having a photo of those particular 35 people? Have they been specially selected as even more bigoted than the majority of Tories, or is it random? Did you create the collage yourself?

Sorry I should have labeled it. They are 35 of the 38 Tory MPs who voted against civil partnerships

And a thoroughly unpleasant-looking buunch they are too.

Still no mention of the Alan Duncan story on ConHome. They must be too scared of the usual suspects embarassing the party.
