Jeremy Paxman on Boris Johnson: "I despair"

Boris Johnson has been obsessed with replacing bendy buses since day one. So you would have thought he would have come up with a cost for them by now. Like the rest of us, Jeremy Paxman was less than impressed...

Hi Tory Troll, Jeremy Paxman was so rude, badgering Boris Johnson like that. I dunno, maybe the stat. went out of his head, understandably when someone is bellowing in your ear like a bull with an overactive thyroid.

I don't know who Jeremy Paxman thinks he is, the way he hassles people, all it looks like is appalling bad manners.

The figure didn't just go out of his head. He doesn't have a figure. Interviewers have been asking him this question for months. The first time he was asked he said it would cost £8 million which was a crazy figure for a whole fleet of buses. Considering this was the first policy he came out with, you would have thought he would have worked out an estimate by now.

So either he does know a figure but is frightened that the voters won't like how expensive it will be, or he doesn't know a figure in which case, why should we vote for him?
