Boris Johnson - decisively indecisive

I'm not saying Boris can't keep his word but...

Well I suppose you could count his unequivocal backing of Ray Lewis, James McGrath and Tim Parker as well.

If you're working at City Hall the last thing you want to hear is that Boris has full confidence in you.

No wonder he's being tipped for PM. The man has all the courage and conviction of Gordon Brown ;)

Tsk. Tsk. Haven't you read the rules? Gordon is a cowardly ditherer, whereas Boris is just listening to the people.

I've got this theory! That isn't Boris, he's a clone. Boris was cloned by the Chinese one his recent visit.

Clone Boris, is under orders from the Chinese government, to screw things up in London particularly the Olympics. Then in desperation the Olympics will have to go back to China, as they already have the facilities.

The only problem with that, is they need'nt have cloned him, Boris will do that anyway.

Isn't it true with clones that there's usually one fatal flaw with the copy? A flaw which could emerge at any moment...

To be honest, I don't think it's Boris dithering so much as having too many advisers varying from the ideological hardliners who'd consider Thatcher a liberal to the pragmatic sort, to which he is somewhat inclined.
He's also under orders, I guess, from Tory high commnad to keep it steady till after the Tories have won the next election.
In addition, there are probably the more sensible Tories and senior staff who know that the market approach to services (ie the essence of Thatcherism) is on its last legs and privatisation is a disaster when it comes to infrastructure and in the present climate survival is based on governemnt intervention, not privatisation - rither that or George W Bush is a communist.
