Andrew Gilligan socks it to Peter Hendy over at the Daily Telegraph
"The only job market for the vast majority of local-authority managers is that created by their own generosity. Most are no more than bureaucrats who got lucky..."
Why that does sound rather familiar. Now where have I read that one before?

Oh yes, and again on Hendy:

I don't understand why the users of sock puppets can't see how bloody transparent it all is and thus, pointless.
For some people the temptation is too great, which is understandable I guess. It's the lying about it when confronted about it which is worse.
Yes, let's get the bastard. It's the 'kennite is my partner' stuff that we should point out is exactly the same shit pulled by David Wright over his twitgasm the other day - it's the cover up that betrays dishonesty.
That's it. Why believe Wright or Gilligan on anything else?
Any chance that Andy G will tackle Boris's broken promises on police numbers? Surely that is the kind of story the London correspondent of a major national newspaper should be spending a bit of time on.
No, but he has had some ongoing investigations of Lee Jasper, Ken Livingstone, Alaistair Campbell... and er, Boris Johnson's website designers. All up to the minute stuff of course.
Anyone would think that Andy G had a personal agenda and was much more interested in following that than reporting on what is happening in London now under Boris's leadership. Surely that can't be the case. I blame Ken and Lee Jasper.
Heard the one about the campaign to rehabilitate Rose West?
Yes, it was less embarrassing than the one to rehabilitate Andrew Gilligan.
